Series Finale
What to Expect
The Gas Gun Show Finale is the final match of the season—the weekend everything this year has been building toward. Over two days, shooters will move through a full circuit of stages designed to test both precision and speed in a structured, competitive environment. You’ll be placed into a squad based on your division and rotate through each stage alongside other competitors. Whether you’re new to competition or experienced, this is where you test yourself, improve, and see where you stand.

Compete In Your Division
Open Division
Any projectile that does not exceed .308 in diameter and isn’t a 223/5.56 or 308. 3,200 ft per second max velocity. No bag or supporting gear limitations. No optic limitations. Gas operated gun only.
DMR Division
.223 Remington, 5.56 or .308 Winchester/7.62x51 NATO only. 3,200 ft per second max velocity. No bag or supporting gear limitations. No optic limitations. Gas operated gun only.
RECCE Division
.223 Remington or 5.56 only. 3,200 ft per second max velocity. Bipod that doesn’t extend beyond 14”. No Sky pods or Tripods. The same bag for the duration of the match. Max magnification is 10x. Gas operated gun only.
Skills Division
Anything that doesn’t exceed the above limitations in the previous divisions. Coaching is allowed. Points series doesn’t count. Max of 3 matches in this division.
Will there be a zero range available?
Yes. You’ll have the opportunity to confirm zero prior to the match start. The zero range (see range map) will open approximately one hour before the shooter briefing.
Will there be a tuning day?
Yes. December 19th, the Friday before the finale, the range will be open from 8am-5pm for you to tune your setup for the weekend.
Are stage details and distances provided in advance?
Physical match books for the entire weekend’s stages will be provided to every shooter on the morning of the first day.
What distances should I realistically be ready for?
Distance on steel targets will be 200- 700 yards. Come with DOPE out to 1000 for the rare occurrence of that distance.
How accurate are the provided distances?
Every effort is made to provide accurate distances, but shooters are expected to verify and trust their own data.
How are squads assigned?
The top ten shooters from the year within each division are placed in set squads. All other shooters are free to choose their squads on Impact Scoring. If you don’t pick a squad, you will be assigned one.
What are the inclement weather plans?
The match runs rain or shine. Shooters should be prepared to perform in changing conditions. In specific weather conditions, concerning visibility or safety, the entire match may be delayed for a short time. Match directors will keep shooters informed day of.
How should I prepare differently for the finale vs a regular match?
Expect more stages, more pressure, and a higher level of competition—come prepared for a full, demanding match experience. Though meals and water will be provided, we recommend you bring snacks or anything else you’ll need!
